We thought we'd add an area where new members could say hello to everyone and leave a brief message about themselves.

`Hello,

As Shawna has started the ball rolling, it would be rude not to continue.

My passion for far too many years has been almost anything to do with Clive Barker, the books, the films, even the artwork. I also have a big soft spot for Freddy, I have one of the Krugeer room guards it use to freak people out as for some reason however much I moved around a room it wouldn't set it off but anyone else move an inch off he went. I love loads of 60's horror especially the Corman and hammer stuff, as well as the cheese 80's horror. I love obscure stuff too those delicious underground films that lack budget but make up for it in either story or humour. I do also love modern horror, todays favourite being planet terror. My music taste, yet another metaller but mine is tainted with an industrial edge.
I have a slight thing for vampire films imparticular, I got fasinated with them when I was about 8 and never managed to completely grow out of it, be it Vlad tepes, Elizabet or any legend you care to mention you will get my interest very quickly be it fiction or the historical charater/superstition it is bassed on.

Anyway, I'm talking too much, some one elses turn to say hi,

Take care

Janey X

`I'm obsessed with zombies! I'm still on the fence on how I feel about the new trend of more agile, aggressive zombies. maybe we could talk about it.

`Hello Freaks,
I second that motion.I love horror and was a spooky little kid always watching creature feature and science fiction cinema while others were out playing.I will always have this dark passion and I like people with that same passion, not embarrassed to admit that.I am willing to share with others some of my tastes in music, books, movies, art, web sites anything and everything that might expand their knowledge of weirdness and hope to learn from them as well. Please don"t be shy and pass up an opportunity to make a friend.

Braennon,

With your account kicking out email and messages as not available, may be a hicup to this.

Otherwise I'm always happy to talk horror in any form.

`Hello everybody, well I've been a horror fan since the age of 10 watching the Hammer movies on my small black and white TV. I then graduated to the good stuff, Halloween, Re-animator, Return of the Living Dead during the horror craze of the 80s. Looking fully to future discussions with the group.

`Hello I too enjoy horror films, but I also love to read them. Clive Barker has got to be my fav., but that could change on any given day. Brian Keene and his zombies are great, Brian Lumley and his Vamps. Who can forget Richard Laymon,Edward Lee and the list could go on and on.. Love to curl up with a good Zombie book

Hi. I don't write very interesting descriptions of myself; I'm better with Q & A. I'm an amateur movie reviewer, specializing in cult/B/Z/older movies; not as much with the blockbusters, although I do watch them. I'll talk to anyone about almost anything.

Hi

I'm Valura, an artstudent and a cynical horroraddict.
The main thing I like about horror is the question you can ask yourself; "what if". What if a virus breaks out and turns everyone you know into flesheating zombies? What if you were locked up in a house and had no where to go? What if...
As you might have noticed I love zombieplots. Zombies and istic (aren't that zombies too?) stories are my favorites.
My favorite (horror)movies are; The Devil's Rejects, TCM (original Hooper version, the others were kind of rubbish), Shaun of the Dead and Dawn of the Dead (original Romero version of course).
Besides a filmfanatic, I'm also into comics (Marvelfangirl).
My favorite comics; The Walking Dead, Transmetropolitan, Watchmen (of course) and Marvel Zombies.

I pulled an Ed Gein; I grave-robbed 80 graves and made suits out of the bodies.

`Hey there.

I'm Whitney, I'm an artist oh so simple.
Horror has basically attached to my soul. I can't get enough horror movies, books, horror anything. I enjoy the high of being scared.
I can be pretty normal too though I mean, I'm just a regular person With irregular loves and passions.
I'm a gamer, currently begging for Left 4 Dead, haha.
Uhmm.. D: I can't think of anything else so. HI :D
